About these classes

About these classes

The essentials for getting the most from every workout.

Before you press play

Do I need to warm up?

Yes — always warm up your body before any exercise. If the class you are about to do does not include one, pick a Warm-up from the library or spend 3–5 minutes loosening ankles, hips, shoulders and spine first.

Is this safe for me?

Always consult your health practitioner before taking part in any workout regime, particularly if you have existing injuries or health problems. Listen to your body in every session — if a movement feels shaky or rigid, take it down a level or skip it.

What equipment do I need?

Most classes are Mat only. A few use hand weights, resistance bands, a chair, a mini ball or a tennis ball — each class card lists what you need. Start with what you have and build up from there.

How should I set up my space?

Clear enough room to stretch out fully in every direction. Remove trip hazards, ventilate the room, and keep water nearby. Take 20 seconds to do a risk assessment of your space so you can move freely and safely.

What if I miss a day or fall behind?

It does not matter. These classes are here whenever you are ready. Start where you are, do what you can, and come back tomorrow. Consistency beats intensity every time.
