Asian Slaw

Crunchy, tangy and packed with colour — a slaw that upstages the main every time.

Asian Slaw

Ingredients

  • ¼ white cabbage, finely shredded
  • ¼ red cabbage, finely shredded
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • 4 spring onions, sliced
  • 50g edamame
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 3 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp grated ginger

Method

  1. Whisk vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey and ginger for the dressing.
  2. Combine both cabbages, carrots, spring onions and edamame in a large bowl.
  3. Pour dressing over the slaw and toss well.
  4. Scatter sesame seeds on top.
  5. Leave to marinate for 15 minutes before serving for best flavour.
