Beetroot & Apple Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 small cooked beetroot
  • 1 apple, cored and chopped
  • 1 frozen banana
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 200ml apple juice
  • 1 tsp chia seeds

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender.
  2. Blend on high for 60 seconds until smooth.
  3. The colour will be a stunning deep purple — perfectly normal.
  4. Pour over ice and serve immediately.
