Cacao & Oat Energy Bars

No-bake breakfast bars with oats, cacao, almond butter and seeds — prep on Sunday, eat all week.

Cacao & Oat Energy Bars

Ingredients

  • 200g rolled oats
  • 3 tbsp cacao powder
  • 4 tbsp almond butter
  • 3 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Pinch of salt

Method

  1. Warm almond butter and honey in a pan until runny; stir in vanilla.
  2. Mix oats, cacao, seeds and salt in a bowl; pour over warm mixture and stir.
  3. Press firmly into a lined tray; refrigerate 2 hours until set.
  4. Cut into 10 bars. Keep refrigerated up to 10 days.
