Ingredients
- 3 tsp sweet paprika
- 2 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground fenugreek
- 1 tsp ground cardamom
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp allspice
- ½ tsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp sea salt
Method
- Combine all ingredients; mix well.
- Store in an airtight jar up to 3 months.
- Use in stews, lentil dishes and spiced meat.
Tips
Classic in Ethiopian doro wat (chicken stew) and misir (spiced lentils). Toast the blend lightly in a dry pan to intensify the flavour before using.
