Ingredients
- 3 nori sheets, finely cut into small pieces
- 3 tbsp sesame seeds (mix of white and black)
- 2 tbsp dried bonito flakes (skip for vegan)
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- ½ tsp sea salt
Method
- Toast sesame seeds in a dry pan 2 min; cool.
- Crumble bonito flakes with your fingers.
- Toss nori, sesame, bonito, soy, sugar and salt together.
- Store in an airtight jar up to 2 months.
Tips
Sprinkle over rice, eggs, avocado toast, popcorn or roasted vegetables. The umami impact is enormous for such simple ingredients.
