Ingredients
- 2 large handfuls baby spinach
- 1 banana, frozen
- 1 green apple, cored and chopped
- 2cm piece fresh ginger, peeled
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 250ml coconut water or cold water
- 4–5 ice cubes
Method
- Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender.
- Blend for 60 seconds until completely smooth.
- Taste and adjust lemon or honey as needed.
- Pour into a tall glass and serve immediately.
Tips
Add a scoop of vanilla protein powder to make it a meal-replacement smoothie. A handful of frozen peas adds extra greens without changing the taste.
