Italian Herb Mix

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp dried oregano
  • 2 tbsp dried basil
  • 1 tbsp dried rosemary, crumbled
  • 1 tbsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried marjoram
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp chilli flakes

Method

  1. Combine all dried herbs and spices in a bowl.
  2. Crush the fennel seeds lightly in a pestle and mortar first.
  3. Mix thoroughly and transfer to a jar.
  4. Use on pizza, pasta sauces, roasted chicken, focaccia and grilled fish.
  5. Best used within 6 months.
