Ingredients
- 2 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper (or less for mild)
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
Method
- Mix all spices together in a bowl.
- Transfer to a sealed jar or spice container.
- Use as a dry rub, coating meat or fish before grilling or baking.
- Store in a cool, dark place for up to 6 months.
Tips
Rub onto chicken thighs with a little olive oil and bake at 200°C for 35 minutes for incredible Cajun chicken. Also brilliant on salmon or sprinkled over homemade sweet potato fries.
