Ingredients
- 3 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp mustard powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp cayenne
Method
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
- The brown sugar will clump slightly — break it up with your fingers.
- Store in an airtight container.
- Apply generously to meat or vegetables, pressing into the surface.
- Allow to rest 30 minutes before cooking for maximum flavour penetration.
