Ingredients
- 300ml oat milk or almond milk
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground ginger
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Method
- Add all ingredients to a small saucepan.
- Heat gently over medium heat, whisking constantly, until steaming (do not boil).
- Pour into a mug through a fine sieve if desired.
- Top with a pinch of cinnamon and serve warm.
Tips
The black pepper is key — it increases turmeric absorption (curcumin) by up to 2000%. Blend the mixture for a frothier latte.
