Tzatziki with Pitta Chips

Proper homemade tzatziki with baked wholemeal pitta chips — fresh, garlicky and satisfying.

Tzatziki with Pitta Chips

Ingredients

  • 300g Greek yogurt
  • 1 cucumber, grated and squeezed dry
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill or mint
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Salt
  • 4 wholemeal pittas, cut into triangles and baked at 180°C for 8 min until crisp

Method

  1. Mix yogurt, cucumber, garlic, herbs, olive oil and lemon juice.
  2. Season generously; refrigerate 30 min for flavours to develop.
  3. Serve with warm pitta chips.
